Your RINGLY uses data from both your RINGLY device and Apple Health. This way you get credit for the most steps possible as you go about your day. When you're wearing your RINGLY jewelry, your RINGLY app will sync with your device and combine those steps with any from your phone to build a complete picture of your day's activity. This also allows third party apps that also use Apple Health to display steps that you take while wearing RINGLY.
If you would like to disable this functionality and only view steps counted on your RINGLY device, you can manage your Health permissions by opening the Health app, navigating into the Steps section and going to "Data Source & Access".
